1. Who is responsible for your data

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Our processing does not meet the conditions in Article 37 of the UK GDPR that would require one. Enquiries go to the address above.

2. What this notice covers

This notice covers personal data connected with this website and with correspondence sent to us as a result of visiting it.

It does not describe how data is handled inside any service AGB provides under a separate contract. Where AGB acts as a processor for a client, that relationship is governed by the written agreement between us and that client, not by this notice.

3. What this website collects

The website itself collects nothing

There is no enquiry form on this website. There is no live chat, no booking widget, no newsletter sign-up and no account. No page asks you for your name, your email address or anything else, and no page transmits information about you to us.

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tag manager, advertising pixel or session-recording tool. It makes no requests to any third party: the two typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts or any other font service, so no request header and no IP address is sent to a third party while a page renders. Our separate cookie notice sets this out in more detail.

If you write to us

The contact section of the home page shows our address, info@agbadvans.com, and invites you to write to us using your own email software. That message travels directly from you to our mailbox. It does not pass through this website, and this website is not told that you sent it.

An email you send us will contain your email address, whatever name your mail software attaches to it, and whatever you choose to put in the message. We suggest telling us which payment providers you already hold, which markets you operate in and what you are trying to solve, but you decide what to send and how much of it.

We hold that email in our mailbox in order to read it, reply to it and keep a record of the exchange.

Please do not send confidential information, credentials or payment card details by email. Email is not a secure channel, and we do not ask for any of those things.

Server logs

This website runs on servers operated by AGB. The web server records standard technical information for each request: the requesting IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, and the user-agent string reported by your browser. These logs exist so that the site can be operated securely and faults can be diagnosed. They are not used to build a profile of you, they are not combined with any other data, and they are not used for marketing.

We keep these logs for 90 days, after which they are deleted.

4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Our legitimate interests, and why we consider them balanced. Our interest is in being able to respond to business enquiries addressed to us and in operating the website securely. The data involved is limited: an email you chose to send, and routine technical logs. The processing is what any sender of a business email would reasonably expect. It does not involve special category data, it is not used to make decisions about you, and it produces no legal or similarly significant effect. You can object at any time — see section 8.

We do not use enquiry details for unsolicited marketing. We do not operate a mailing list, we do not add correspondents to one, and we do not sell, rent or share contact details with anyone for marketing purposes.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. How long we keep it

Correspondence. We keep an email exchange for 24 months from the date of the last message in it, after which it is deleted. Where an exchange leads to a contract, the correspondence is kept for the life of that contract and for six years afterwards, which is the period in which a claim could be brought under the Limitation Act 1980.

6. Who else is involved

We operate this website and our email on our own infrastructure. Correspondence sent to info@agbadvans.com is delivered to a mail server we run, not to a third-party mailbox service, and the server logs described in section 3 stay on our own systems.

The only supplier involved is the provider of the underlying infrastructure on which those servers run. That provider supplies capacity and does not access the data held on them; it acts as our processor under a written agreement meeting Article 28 of the UK GDPR. We will name it on request.

We do not use a CRM, a marketing platform, an analytics provider, a form handler or a third-party email service for this website. If that changes, this notice is updated before the change goes live.

Web fonts. The two typefaces this site uses are served from this domain. No font request is made to Google or to any other third party.

Disclosure to others. We disclose personal data outside those suppliers only where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a regulator, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

7. Where your data goes

The website makes no third-party requests, and we do not send the data described in this notice to any third-party service provider. It stays on infrastructure we operate.

Where the servers holding it are located outside the United Kingdom, that transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V of the UK GDPR, and we hold a transfer risk assessment for it. We will tell you where your data is held if you ask.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have data erased in certain circumstances
• restrict how we use it in certain circumstances
• object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests —

which is the basis we rely on for everything described here

• receive data you provided in a portable form, where that right applies
• complain to the Information Commissioner's Office

To exercise any of these, write to info@agbadvans.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK supervisory authority:

We would ask you to raise it with us first, so that we have the chance to put it right.

9. Children

This website is addressed to businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to them.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects how we handle data already held, we will take reasonable steps to tell the people affected.
